Expand funding for GLP-1 RAs and continuous glucose monitors: federal diabetes inquiry

Patients with diabetes should have access to longer subsidised appointments with allied health professionals and greater access to GLP-1 receptor agonists, a parliamentary inquiry has recommended.

Restrictions on continuous glucose monitors for patients with type 1 diabetes should also be scrapped, according to the Standing Committee on Health, Aged Care and Sport.
